Kisima Mixed Secondary School has been built to accommodate 160 students. The tuition block contains four form classrooms, an additional classroom for optional subjects, a staff room and two offices.

There are two science laboratories complete with prep room and store – one for Physics and Chemistry and one for Biology and Agriculture. Above the Biology/Agriculture lab is the exam hall.

Another building contains the library, an office and a meeting room.

The multi-purpose hall is used mainly for meals but also for the Sunday service, other gatherings and indoor games.  The kitchen, food stores and Matron’s office are at one end.

The students are all boarders so there are two dormitories, each with space for eighty students and with a washroom attached. Between these is a house accommodating the matron and one teacher.  The teachers’ accommodation houses the other nine teachers.

The playing field has a running track, a football pitch and a volleyball court. There is also a netball court and a basketball court near the dormitories.
